Everyone seems to be in agreement that 2012 is going to be a great year!

For us there has been no time to rest! Christmas and New Years events rolled into the glorious Summer Wedding season.

We have had some magnificent weddings take place recently, from the lovely Treasury Gardens right here in the heart of the CBD to Daylesford and the ever popular Yarra Valley. "Garden Party " has been a popular theme with our stunning outdoor Tolix and Cafe Pliante ranges making a big splash.

IT’S A WRAP!

Having just wrapped up a very festive but frantic Christmas season, we are now whole heartedly looking forward to 2012.

If this year is anything to go by, we are expecting to enjoy further growth with new team members, beautiful new products and lots of new business partnerships and client relationships.

We were THRILLED to be involved with the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival in celebration of their 20th anniversary.

The event took place right here at the new Dann Event Hire showroom which was converted into a fabulous event space.

Twenty of the biggest names in food and wine from around Australia witnessed a musical tribute to the industry, the players and the iconic Melbourne festival!

The saying ‘When it rains it pours’ has never been more apt for us than it is right now! There is so much happening. We have been working with the Melbourne Film Festival, Bridal Fairs, Corporate Events, Melbourne Spring Fashion week and more.

At the same time, we have been working towards being operational out of our fantastic new premises at 77 – 83 Sutton Street, North Melbourne. With ‘great bones and oozing potential’ it has been a labour of love for a couple of months and is now ready just in time for the crazy season. We look forward to showing you through our new showroom soon.

Spring is in the air and just as the gardens are exploding into colour, so is our showroom. With several containers due to land in the next few weeks, we look forward to injecting some serious colour and joie de vivre into the upcoming Spring Racing and Wedding season of events. We have the fun and colourful cafe range reminiscent of a Parisian cafe scene as well as an entire range of Bentwood stools and chairs in colours from bright red to lime green. Our very creative director, Nick Gulino, headed overseas to do some research and attend an international Furniture and Design Expo, to see what was new and exciting, meet the designers, the manufacturers and explore options for creating our own ranges.

What came out of that journey is a fun and colourful new range of tables, chairs and stools in various styles and colours. For the upcoming spring season, this is going to be an absolute hit with our caterers, private and corporate clients alike.

In the busy lead up to Christmas, Chadstone Shopping Centre had a number of very special guest authors on-site signing their books for die-hard fans. Some of these were Dannii Minogue, Donna Hay, George Colombaris and Archie Thompson. Dann Event Hire were thrilled to be part of these fabulous events supplying the beautiful white stage and furniture to suit their individual style.

Wedding Season is in full swing with celebrations taking place across Melbourne\'s beautiful parks and vast array of breathtaking venues. We have had the pleasure of providing guidance and equipment to many happy Brides and Grooms already this year with looks varying from Romantic to Modern Minimalism. Some of the venues hosting these memorable occasions have been Atlantic - Sumac, Sketch and Maia, Carousel, Zinc, Kamesburgh Gardens and the Sandringham Yacht Club.
